Durham Theatre Festival
Blogger & Content Creator (December 2011 – January 2012)

I created and maintained the Durham Theatre Festival blog to generate excitement leading up to the event. I wrote board member profiles, highlighted the founder’s work, and crafted posts that showcased the festival’s mission.

To amplify reach, I promoted the festival across multiple platforms: co-hosting interviews on Underground Noise for Riot Radio, contributing stories to The Chronicle, and participating in the college’s broadcast news program, DC News.
This project let me combine writing, content strategy, and multimedia promotion, giving me hands-on experience in engaging audiences across online, print, and radio channels.
