I am a mother, writer, and gender justice advocate specializing is sexual violence prevention education, who got her start in grassroots feminist organizing.
Having written for over 50 publications, I have interviewed rebel nuns, explored Spanish caves in search of witches, and slept in an Italian tarot museum. In addition to my writing, I work as the Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Coordinator at Seneca Polytechnic, a consultant with the Ontario Coalition of Rape Crisis Centres (OCRCC), and sit on the Board of Directors for Durham Rape Crisis Centre. I have worked in various capacities for sexual assault centres across the province, as well as for York University's 'The Centre for Sexual Violence Response, Support & Education.' Most of my time is spent with my three black cats, cool teenager, a drummer, and little black dog. In August 2021 I started Three Black Cats to oversee my contract work, which includes running a youth page for Family Transition Place and creating content around supporting youth who have experienced technology-facilitated sexual violence for Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services.
