DC News
In 2012, DC News was Durham College's media department's online news show and blog, which is now offline. While at Durham College I also wrote for The Chronicle and Downtown Oshawa News; wrote for and hosted Riot Radio programs; helped on the set of Rogers TV; filmed, edited, and created closed captioning for an episode of Rogers TV's My Community is Durham; and was featured in the school's magazine, Reflections Fall 2012 issue.

Hillary is a very creative individual and extremely talented writer. As her professor, I always enjoyed marking her assignments because they were not only well done but also original and imaginative. Hillary also showed great commitment to learning and displaying a great attitude whether she was tackling an assignment alone or in a group setting. I have no hesitation in recommending Hillary for any position she may want to apply for. She will definitely be an asset to the company that hires her. |
