York University MA, Gender, Feminist, and Women’s Studies | BA, Gender Studies (with distinction)
At York, I honed my critical thinking, research skills, and passion for social justice. I facilitated Active Bystander workshops with The Centre for Sexual Violence Response, Support & Education, trained as a Peer Mentor, and studied witchcraft as a form of resistance. My Major Research Project culminated in my zine Strega: An Autoethnography, blending lived experience with research and challenging traditional academic storytelling.
As an Active Bystander Facilitator (2017-2018), I trained over 1200 student leaders on how to receive and respond to disclosures of sexual violence and how to practice bystander intervention.
